國立歷史博物館圖樣介紹：

本件為「重要古物」，由整塊巨石挖鑿雕刻而成。

外壁紋飾可分三欄，上欄以番蓮花環飾，下欄以長線水波紋環飾，中欄則為主畫面，正面主畫面雕以「丹鳳朝陽」或「百鳥朝鳳」圖；背面主畫面為「四龍拱麟」；兩側則雕刻雙馬騰空奔馳於壽山福海之上，雕刻題材均為仁禽仁獸，紋飾豐富且精細。

This is an "important antiquity" carved from a single huge stone.

The outer wall decoration can be divided into three columns. The upper column is decorated with lotus flowers, the lower column is decorated with long water ripples, and the middle column is the main picture. The main picture on the front is carved with "Phoenix Facing the Sun" or "Hundred Birds Facing the Phoenix"; the main picture on the back is "Four Dragons Supporting a Unicorn"; on both sides are carved with two horses galloping in the air above Shoushan Fuhai. The carvings are all benevolent birds and beasts, and the patterns are rich and delicate.
